The Journey to Natural Skincare:
From Personal Struggle to Ujjayi
Most of you might not know this about me, but beyond my love for writing, I am a dedicated business owner. For over a decade, I’ve been at the helm of a natural skincare company, a venture born out of personal necessity and a deep passion for creating something truly beneficial for the skin.
My journey into the world of natural skincare wasn’t planned. In my 30s, I faced a daunting battle with severe acne. Encouraged by friends who witnessed these transformations, I decided to share my creations with the world. Thus, Ujjayi was born. The name Ujjayi, meaning “breathe” in Sanskrit, is a constant reminder that our skin, too, needs to breathe, to be nurtured, and not suffocated by harmful chemicals.
